Cruising Montana was an event held by SCS Software through the World of Trucks platform, featuring American Truck Simulator. The event started on August 4, 2022 and ended on September 25, 2022, along with the ending of the Destination Hannover event, another World of Trucks event featuring Euro Truck Simulator 2. It was the fifth WoT event to directly coincide a DLC release, involving American Truck Simulator: Montana.
Rules
- All American Truck Simulator players with a World of Trucks-connected profile may participate in the event.
- To participate in the event, a player must make deliveries through external contracts to / from any city in Montana, namely:
- Deliveries must have a distance of 100 miles each (161 km) or more to count.
Mission Objective
- To achieve the personal goal, each individual player must make at least one deliveries to or from 12 different cities in Montana.
- The community goal requires all participating players to conducting deliveries such that their distances add up to 100,000,000 miles (160,934,400 km) or more.
Release History
- August 3, 2022: Blog post to announce the release of the event.
- August 17, 2022: Announcement that the community goal had been reached, and the continuation of event until September 25, 2022.
- September 26, 2022: Official announcement that the event had been ended.
