The Hauling Hope Event was an event held by SCS Software through the World of Trucks platform, covering both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2. The event started on January 21, 2021 and ended on February 15, 2021.[1] The event involved the temporary introduction of deliveries for COVID-19 Vaccines, to mark the current widespread roll-out of the vaccines in the real world.

The original end date was February 7, 2021, but SCS announced the next day that the event was to be extended for a week.[2]

Rules

  • Participants (truckers) must have a World of Trucks profile connected to either Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator.
  • Truckers may participate in the event by completing external contracts of the cargo type COVID-19 Vaccines.
  • In order for a player to achieve his or her personal goal, it is necessary to deliver a combined total of seven undamaged deliveries on the vaccines across both games.
  • There is no restriction on distance travelled on the jobs in order to qualify, nor is there any restriction preventing deliveries to and from the same cities.
