Lacq is a town located in southwestern France. It is featured in the Vive la France! map expansion DLC in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Summary

Lacq was added into update 1.40 as an update for the Vive la France! map expansion.[1] Lacq, together with Bayonne, were the sixth cities to be added outside of the release of the base game or a map expansion after six cities (Ajaccio, Bastia, Bonifacio, Calvi, L'Île-Rousse, and Porto-Vecchio in the latter country) were added in update 1.36.

While this small village will just be a scenic drive-through for most, there is one major industry that is located there. The industrial complex was built after the discovery of one of the greatest natural gas fields in the world. Today Lacq is home to the largest refinery in France and is one of the world’s largest sulfur producers and exporters.

Features

Depots

The only company in Lacq is a large oil refinery with a Huilant depot.

Facilities

The only facility is a viewpoint.

Connections

The city is next to Autoroute A64, which runs between Bayonne and Toulouse and serves as the only access to Lacq.

The village of Artix stands between the Autoroute and Lacq, meaning that truckers have to drive through that village. While this minor road is signposted towards Bayonne, the road is closed off west of Lacq.
