Features

Depots

The city centre of Clermont-Ferrand is divided in two parts by a railway. The eastern part includes an IKA Bohag and a Tradeaux depot, while truckers can visit a Bâtisse construction area and a Gomme du Monde in the western part.

The airport area with an FLE depot is located at the street to the southeast of the city. Driving further on this road, one can find a Nos Pâturages farm and a Subse depot, of which the latter is located in another industrial area.

Facilities

Landmarks

The most important landmark in Clermont-Ferrand is the Clermont-Ferrand Auvergne Airport, but one also can find some smaller landmarks in the city like the Conseil régional d'Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes or the Musée d’Art Roger-Quilliot. Another visible feature which has been designed very well by SCS Software is the Clermont-Ferrand tramway. It can be found in the city centre opposite of the bus station.

The Gomme du Monde depot replaces the Michelin factory which exists in that location in real-life.

Connections

The city's main connection is the A89 which runs to Bordeaux in the western and Lyon in the eastern direction. The A71 links the city with the north of France, above all with Bourges and Saint-Laurent, while the A75 runs down to Montpellier.

There are also some minor roads in Clermont-Ferrand: One connects the city with Limoges and one with Italy and Marseille.
