The Périphérique de Paris runs along the accessible part of Paris city (which is actually just beyond it).
- To the south, the Périphérique intersects with
, which runs east towards Reims, Metz and Strasbourg. - To the north, the Périphérique intersects with
and connects Gonesse / Charles de Gaulle Airport / Roissy-en-France to the north. Beyond them, the 
leads truckers to Poissy and other destinations to the north. The intersection also features connections directly to / from the city streets. - For destination to the south and west (e.g. Lyon or Le Mans), truckers should take the southern section of
and thence Autoroutes 
, 
or 
. It matters relatively little whether truckers enters/exit the city to the north (via / 
) or to the south (via ).
