Update 1.40 is the fortieth major update of Euro Truck Simulator 2, released on March 24, 2021.

Summary

Update 1.40 for Euro Truck Simulator 2 brings DAF 2021 (XG and XG+) as a brand new truck, game engine update to the visual lighting, new Special Transport routes and more additions.

  • New addon for the Renault T (the T and T-High: Evolution)[6]

  • DAF 2021 added to AI vehicles (XG+ 4x2)
  • Renault T Evolution added to AI vehicles (High Sleeper 4x2, Sleeper 6x2)

UI

  • Full-text city/company search in the job selection screen
  • Improved vehicle adjustment menu (F4)
