The Autoroute A63 is a highway in France. It's introduced to Euro Truck Simulator 2 game map at version 1.40 update. Possession of Vive la France! DLC is required to access this road, but there's no extra charge for truckers possessing the DLC before version 1.40 update.

This road, alongside the adjacent A64, differ from most other French roads in that it's initially not rendered in either the base game map or the Vive la France! expansion when it's released in 2016. It's until the development of Iberia DLC that SCS includes the road to the game map.

SCS intended to make the roads' inclusion coincide with the release of Iberia DLC,[1] but eventually release the them early as part of the version 1.40 update.[2]

Before the release of Iberia DLC, and for all trucker not possessing it, the road is accessible up to its junction with A64 near Bayonne.

Trivia

  • The inclusion of A63 adds a new junction on the minor road originally covers the west of Bordeaux in-game, improving access to depots near Le Temple.
  • A63, alongside with its neighbour A64, are the first French Autoroutes with junction numbers displayed in-game.
  • Despite also being part of European route E80, no signs along A63 indicate as such, as French road signs usually only display up to two European route numbers for one direction.
