Kenworth is an American truck manufacturer that is featured in American Truck Simulator.
The headquarters of the Kenworth company is located in Renton, Washington. Kenworth manufactures a variety of trucks in America and Australia, ranging from the C-Series cement mixer to the monster T909 that is used in Australia as the powerhouse for road trains. Kenworth shares their headquarters with engine manufacturer Paccar, which also owns Peterbilt in American Truck Simulator and DAF in Euro Truck Simulator 2. There are currently only two models in American Truck Simulator, the Kenworth W900 and the Kenworth T680. The Kenworth W900 is the most popular out of the two, judging from online events. Although the Kenworth T680 is cheaper, the W900 is faster, has more customizable options, and has engine choices which offer higher torque.
Besides selling new trucks, repairing customer trucks and offering a place to rest, the Kenworth dealerships also serve as deliverable companies. The headquarters in Seattle are the main production facility of Kenworth, and are also a deliverable company.
