Companies: Euro Truck Simulator 2

Companies featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2 allow truckers to transport cargo, goods and other services through the job market.

Summary

Companies provide jobs in the job market, and deliveries will involve transporting goods from one company depot to another.

The initial release of Euro Truck Simulator 2 featured 17 deliverable companies, all of which were ported from Euro Truck Simulator. New companies would be introduced to Euro Truck Simulator 2 with the release of the Scandinavia map expansion DLC, and after that, every subsequent map expansion would also feature new region-specific companies. New companies would also be introduced with map reworks of already-existing map areas and DLC expansions.

Types of Companies

Below is a list of all the companies in the game, as well as the general industrial sectors they are involved in.

Chemicals

Chemical companies are involved in the extraction, production, and synthesis of various chemicals for use in industrial settings. The player will most often require an ADR license to take jobs from these companies, but some trailers are still ready to be driven by the less experienced players.

Construction

Construction companies build things out of materials with which they are supplied. This can include material processing or production, as well as the construction of buildings and other structures.

Energy

Energy companies are involved in production and sale of energy, which includes fuel refining, distribution, and energy production.

Food Industry

Food companies are specialized in agriculture (farming and breeding) as well as processing these primary commodities into products which can be sold in stores.

Logistics

Logistics companies, rather than producing or selling goods themselves, handle the distribution and shipping of products of all types through big warehouse facilities. Cargo can be transported by various means, and the cargo they deal with is often the same coming in as going out.

Quarrying

Quarrying companies are specialized in the extraction of different minerals and stones. They require special equipment to mine them, and the products have to be taken to their next destination with care.

Retail

Retail companies are the few which the average consumer is likely to deal with on a regular basis. They sell goods that other companies produce to the general public, resulting in these companies accepting lots of cargo while providing few in return.

Vehicles

Vehicle companies are involved in the production, storage, maintenance, and retail of various types of vehicles, ranging from bikes and trucks to boats and trains.

Wood Industry

Wood companies are specialized in the harvesting and handling of wood and wood-derived products for retail or use in other industries like construction.
