- The name 'Kaarfor' is thought to be based on that of the French multinational supermarket chain Carrefour. This is backed up by the fact that Kaarfor's logo uses similar font and colours to those of Carrefour's.
- Kaarfor is one of five base game companies, so far, that have got completely new prefabs (the other four being IKA Bohag, Tradeaux, Trameri, and TREE-ET).
