Journey
Starting from the beginning in Fandom, my journey begins as User:GD Pro2Boss on May 7, 2018, until my last edit on February 16, 2019. Soon afterwards, I created this account to replace my old one. A year later in February of 2020, I became an Administrator, and I was promoted as a Bureaucrat from November 2021 to February 2023, which is before I migrated to Wiki.gg. The reason why I'm no longer promoted as a Bureaucrat is because Wiki.gg has a different role function unlike Fandom - Bureaucrats are reserved for the Wiki.gg staff. But in the meantime, I don't plan on joining another group. I prefer to edit a wiki that interests me.
From a newbie to an "intermediate" editor, I have been editing pages for a while. It's sometimes stressful to work on a project that can take a long time to do so, but as soon as you finish your project, you'll feel satisfied with the work you have done. I'm happy to help the wiki.
Being an editor of Wiki.gg is a new experience for me. Don't get me wrong about this, it almost feels like I'm editing in Wikipedia. Not to mention that Wikipedia has more "strict" rules with their formatting and citations than here, but I'll be sticking with this since I don't plan on becoming a Wikipedia editor in the meantime.
My history of playing SCS games
Years ago, I played a PC gaming software called WildTangent, where I started playing my first SCS Software game, and it was 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long Haul. I had fun playing it when I was a child. Then I started to play 18 Wheels of Steel: Haulin'. I was thinking it was similar to the newer copy, but then I relized that ALH reintrocuced 3 cities in Mexico, and Haulin' was released before ALH. Like about a year ago or so, I started playing Euro Truck Simulator, which however was called Big Rig Europe in WildTangent. After I stopped playing these games for a long time, I started playing Euro Truck Simulator on Steam. After a few days, I purchased Euro Truck Simulator 2 and started my headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland as my first profile. Just a couple of months after I purchased ETS2, I then purchased American Truck Simulator in Christmas of 2017 and started my headquarters in Las Vegas, NV. I had the demo first before playing the original game and started in San Francisco, CA. Today, I still play both ETS2 and ATS with all of its downloadable content purchased to my library, and I have over 1,000+ hours on record for both games.
Map Expansion I have
As always, I would purchase all map expansions for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator. I have decided to sort these map expansions by date. Dates in bold and italic are on a day the expansion was released.
Once released, I am going to buy the following map expansion(s) that are still a work in progress:
- Euro Truck Simulator 2: Heart of Russia (only for the scenery, this has nothing to do with the current situation)
- Euro Truck Simulator 2: Greece
- American Truck Simulator: Nebraska
- American Truck Simulator: Arkansas
ProMods
ProMods was my last mod of 2019 to download so I can start a new profile with the mod in 2020. I have been wishing to start this for a while. Just after I started doing a few jobs, I was already in love with ProMods! However, I haven't been using ProMods for months now because I am more of a vanilla gamer.
My Maps
I have created maps of cities, roads, countries, and even the entire map of ETS2. For ATS, I mostly do road maps, until I got into creating city maps recently. Over the past years since December 2019, I've gained a lot of artistic skills for creating these maps. Here are some of my maps I created in the past:
Ä°stanbul was my hardest city map created in ETS2 due to its shoreline in-game. This image was published on December 24, 2019, and was later updated by User:Krmarci on March 4, 2020.
The map of Interstate 15 was my first road map of ATS. I updated the image to another version prior to the release of the Idaho DLC on April 11, 2020. (You're seeign the current version of the map. See more details in File:Interstate 15 map.png.
The full map of Euro Truck Simulator 2 is currently my biggest map ever created. I have created this image with a hand-full of screenshots of the map in ETS2, and I have edited all the screenshots into one image.
I am placing Woomera as my largest city map created in ET 2 by file size (114 KB). This map was unfinished before I uploaded most of the ET 2 maps to the wiki. Along with Cumbre, this map was finally uploaded on June 12, 2022.
This is my first ever map combined with more than one city: Dallas and Fort Worth. The reason to cover two cities in one map was the depots, whether they were part of Dallas or Fort Worth, were so close to each other. This map is probably my largest so far. The original version was uploaded on December 15, 2022.
These maps were created by me. All of them represent content from SCS Software.
