The Autobahn A1 is a motorway in northern Austria. It was first introduced in the first version of Euro Truck Simulator when it was accessible between Germany and Wien, following the E60. The motorway was then reintroduced in the Edition Austria expansion for German Truck Simulator in August 2010, serving two more accessible cities (Linz and Salzburg). With the release of Euro Truck Simulator 2, almost the entirety of the route was copy and pasted from GTS, with the addition of one more interchange serving the A21 west of Wien.

With the rework of Austria in update 1.44 for ETS2, the entirety of the motorway was reskinned, with new interchanges with the A7 in Linz and A10 in Salzburg.

The motorway connects the B1 west of Wien with the A8 at the German border near Salzburg.
