A scenery town, scenery city, settlement, or village in Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator is a city, town, or settlement that is not marked with a name on the game map. It can be identified by road signs with its name or by buildings and landmarks corresponding to its real-world counterpart. A suburb in American Truck Simulator is a scenery town located in or near a city, featuring depots shown as part of that city. There are currently 351 villages in Euro Truck Simulator 2: 25 in Austria, 14 in Bulgaria, 17 in Estonia, 12 in Finland, 49 in France, 38 in Italy, 13 in Latvia, 13 in Lithuania, 7 in Portugal, 58 in Romania, 23 in Russia, 42 in Spain, and 40 in Turkey.

There are currently 614 scenery towns in American Truck Simulator: 19 in Arizona, 85 in California, 39 in Colorado, 41 in Idaho, 21 in Kansas, 53 in Montana, 22 in Nevada, 28 in New Mexico, 30 in Oklahoma, 36 in Oregon, 127 in Texas, 35 in Utah, 35 in Washington, and 47 in Wyoming.

Four scenery towns are located in two states and are only counted once in the total number: Glenrio (NM/TX), Hatfield (CA/OR), McDermitt (NV/OR), and Texhoma (OK/TX).
