Woomera is a military-owned town in the Australian state of South Australia. It is featured in 18 Wheels of Steel: Extreme Trucker and Extreme Trucker 2 through the Australian Outback map.
Landmakrs
The only known landmark in Woomera is the Woomera History Museum.
Features
Woomera features an airport, a Boulden Cars & Trucks depot, a Military Facility, a Stips & Co. depot, a WIRPC center, and a water reservoir. A gas station is also available at the water reservoir.
Connections
- The A87 runs towards Glendambo and Alice Springs to the north, and Port Augusta to the south.
- An unnumbered road (The B97, also known as the Olympic Dam Highway in real-life) runs towards Roxby Downs to the north.
- A minor road runs towards Coober Pedy to the north.
- An additional road in Extreme Trucker 2 runs towards the Desert Monsters Racing Track and William Creek to the east.
