Trailers: Scania Truck Driving Simulator

Trailers are vehicles made for carrying cargo that are towed by trucks, and are an important gameplay feature of Scania Truck Driving Simulator.

Trailers are used by the player to complete objectives in Driving Licence, Driver Competition, Dangerous Drives and Freeform Driving.

Gameplay

Trailers attach to the back of the player's truck. If the player jackknifes, the trailer is disconnected and a discordant note is played.

Trivia

• Trailers teleport into place when connecting to the player's truck. This can be abused to slowly move trailers sideways in a way that would otherwise be impossible.

Car Transporter

• The cargo of Ford Mondeo cars can only be seen in AI traffic, and can not be transported by the player.

CROWD Direct Line

The Flood's menu preview, showing the Direct Line's old livery.

• The Direct Line is heavily based off the Krone ProfiLiner.
• As seen in the menu preview for The Flood, the livery for the Direct Line was originally blue during development, which more closely resembles Krone's old promotional livery for the ProfiLiner.

Flatbed Trailer

• The flatbed has the most cargoes of any trailer in the game, with a total of 7 unique cargoes.

American Flatbed

• The American flatbed is the only trailer in the game visibly based off a trailer from the Americas.
• The model is from a trailer in the 18 Wheels of Steel series.
• It is only seen once in the entire game, parked against the fence in Ferry.

Lowbed Trailer

• Despite red lowbed trailers existing as cargo for the flatbed, the only lowbed trailers able to be towed by the player are black.
