Located in Södertälje, Sweden the facility was established in 1995 and serves multiple purposes in real life. It is home to Scania where they test the ruggedness and durability of the trucks, demonstrate their vehicles from both trucks and buses. The facility hosts up to 14,000 visitors every year from universities to engineers and also allows drivers with a Category B license to try out Scania vehicles.
There are three different types of terrain - three kilometres of asphalt roads, two kilometres of forest roads, and three kilometres of gravel roads. Now, you will be able to navigate this meticulously crafted test track and put your truck to the test in various conditions and terrains in Euro Truck Simulator 2!

On March 22nd, 2024, SCS has made a tweet that the Demo Centre would come in the 1.50 update, but the tweet has been removed shortly after it was made. It was officially revealed a day later.
