The Autopista AP2 is a tolled highway in Spain running between Zaragoza and AP7. It is featured in the Iberia map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Course

AP2 starts a prolongation of A2 in Zaragoza. Between the toll gate and the exit to Lleida, the highway is bordered by planted pines while it traverses the area known as Monegros Desert, a semiarid region in eastern Aragón. At a halfway point between Zaragoza and Lleida the road passes under a white arch that marks the pass of the Prime Meridian, known in Spain as the Greenwich Meridian. The arch is illuminated at night and glows with a white light. After passing Lleida the road loses elevation as it crosses the Catalan Coastal Range, and it finally meets AP7 between Tarragona and Barcelona.

The Greenwich Meridian arch illuminated at nighttime.
  • While in the game the arch which symbolizes the Prime or Greenwich Meridian gets illuminated at night, its real-life version doesn't light up anymore in real life, according to the reviews in Google Maps.
