The M62 is an important motorway in United Kingdom.
It first appeared in Euro Truck Simulator (Gold edition) and serves as the connection east of Manchester. Aligning with the simplicity of that game's map, it directly connects the M6 to the west and continues as the M1 to the north-east.
In the subsequent games, UK Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, the M62 is featured as a motorway connecting the M6 (near Liverpool) and the A1 / M1 (near Sheffield), with Manchester being the only city directly connected to the M62.
