Ultimus serves primary airports in Colorado and New Mexico.
Ultimus does not require drivers to be familiar with the FAA Guide to Ground Vehicle Operations. The following FAA best practices exist for driving in the Airport Operations Area:
- Flashing amber beacons and 4 way flashers help ATC, aircrew and other vehicle operators see vehicles in the operational area, especially during periods of reduced visibility and at night.
- Eliminate distractions while driving in the operational area.
- Focus attention and have your "eyes out" of the vehicle.
- Maintain appropriate speed.
- Always yield the right-of-way to moving aircraft.
- Do not enter taxiways or runways without ATC approval.
How to find us:
Albuquerque, NM
Take exit 220 from I-25 and turn East onto Rio Bravo Blvd. Turn left at the light, then take the first right turn, and turn right again to reach the ABQ Cargo Center terminal.
Access to the tarmac is through a gate to the right of the cargo terminal.
Arriving on I-40, use exit 159B for I-25 South, then proceed as above.
Denver, CO
Take the exit for Denver Int'l Airport off I-70 East of Denver. Follow signs to Denver Air Cargo.
Access to the tarmac is through a gate to the left of the cargo terminal. Use the second driveway.
