Truck Simulator Wiki:Rules
Written below are community rules and guidelines about the Truck Simulator Wiki.
In order to keep the wiki free of spam, unnecessary or false content, there are a few rules and guidelines for editing and creating pages. Editors are expected to be familiar with these rules as well as the Layout guidelines. At Truck Simulator Wiki we strive to keep the wiki updated once the video game(s) get updated with accurate information.
Rules
- Common Sense
- Don't post content that is against the wiki.gg TOS.
- Be civil, don't make personal attacks on other people.
- Spam/Advertising/Vandalism is not allowed. This includes posting off-topic, repetitive, offensive, libelous, or advertising content.
- Being a productive editor
- Make sure new articles or existing content follows the Layout guidelines.
- See vandalism? Help revert it as soon as possible.
- In the middle of working on a project? Mark it as a work in progress
{{WIP}}
article so it won't get removed due to lack of content. Be sure to inform other editors in the #wiki-general channel of your project. - Content should first and foremost cover the game as it appears and behaves. You may talk about real-life information although state this in the article.
- Keep speculation to a minimum.
- Keep videos strictly Official posted content by SCS Software.
- Sign your posts on talk pages with ~~~~. If you see a comment without a signature, look into the page's history to find the username and date of the person who made the comment, then substitute the no signature using
{{unsigned|Username|Date}}
and remind them to sign next time.
- Translations
- Truck Simulator Wiki:Translation portal should have the same format as the English counterpart so it's easier for people to find and look for content.
- For guidelines, please see Translation Guidelines
If you have questions, please contact one of the admins via their user page or through Discord in the #wiki-general channel.

Examples:
