This article is a specific guide on uploading images to Truck Simulator Wiki.

Licensing
Most work here is, understandably, either screenshots from the games or extractions from SCS blog. Licensing options have been added for these images so please use them wherever applicable.
Sourcing
It is strongly recommended to extract icons through ETS1 / ETS2 / ATS map editing mode or .scs source files.
Wikimedia Commons images, while not copyrighted, sometimes differ from rendered images, especially for early titles.
File Format
PNG is preferred wherever applicable because JPEG can be lossy if not handled well.
Naming
For screenshots or derivative works, please follow the convention illustrated below:
Category
Not absolutely necessary. As there are so many images around, categorization is still in its infancy. A specific categorization guide may come later.
