M90 (United Kingdom)

The M90 motorway, in Scotland, is the most northerly motorway in United Kingdom. It is also one of the most northerly major roads featured in UK Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Its main purpose is to connect Aberdeen and Edinburgh, although the motorway only spans half of the way, with the remaining distance covered by two (more or less) parallel minor roads.

One of the most prominent feature of the motorway in the game is the Forth Road Bridge, which spans over the Firth of Forth. In real-life, however, this bridge is not part of the M90 motorway – a new bridge has been constructed and opened in 2017 (7 years after UKTS was released), over which the M90 motorway is extended.
