Companies: German Truck Simulator
Companies featured in German Truck Simulator, total at around 18.
These companies provide jobs in the job market, and deliveries will often involve transporting goods from one company to another. Some companies might not produce cargo, and only accept it. Below is a list of all the companies in the game (some companies may appear in more than one category).
In this game, along with UK Truck Simulator, only three selected companies (Stokes, Tradeaux, Transinet) are available for the player to choose when starting a new game.
Chemical Companies
Chemical companies create different types of chemicals, either making or disposing. The player will most often require an ADR license to take jobs from these companies, but some trailers are still ready to be driven by the less experienced players.
Construction
Construction companies build things out of materials with which they are supplied in the company warehouses that are then delivered to the construction site. Windmills, Bridges, Houses... These companies are polyvalent!
Food Industry
Food industry is specialized in agriculture (farming and breeding) as well as processing these primary commodities into products that will be sold in supermarkets.
Forestry
Forestry is one of the countryside activities, as they are specialized in harvesting wood and processing it into wooden products for use in other industries like construction.
Logistics Companies
Logistics Companies deal with all types of goods and consist of big warehouse facilities. The player may find trailers from the different cargo there.
Quarrying
Quarrying companies are specialized in the extraction of different minerals and stones. They require special equipment to mine them, and the products have to be taken to their next destination with care.
Supermarkets and Stores
Supermarkets and Stores are the few companies with which the average consumer is likely to deal with week in, week out. They sell the goods that other companies produce to the general public, but they need regular deliveries to keep their stocks at an acceptable level.
Vehicle Manufacturer and Retail
Vehicle Manufactures use chemicals and other raw materials to produce certain types of vehicles, that will be transported to different retailers that will sell them. All of these goods must be transported though.
