Scania AB (formerly AB Scania-Vabis) is a Swedish truck manufacturing company that is featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2.

Summary

Scania was included in the Euro Truck Simulator 2 base game upon initial release, but only as a non-deliverable company. After the release of Scandinavia DLC (which included its headquarters in Södertälje, Sweden), Scania became a deliverable company to/from which players may transport goods.

Release History

In update 1.50, the the SCANIA Demo Centre was added to the Scandinavia DLC.
In update 1.49, the Scania models R 2009 and Streamline were restricted to only being initially purchasable via the used truck dealer.
In update 1.31, new custom parts for the R and S were added to the Mighty Griffin Tuning Pack DLC.
In update 1.30, the Scania models R and S were added to the game.
28 June 2016: The Mighty Griffin Tuning Pack DLC is released, adding many new Scania-themed accessories and truck parts for the R 2009 and the Streamline.
6 May 2015: The Scandinavia map expansion DLC is released, which includes Scania as a new deliverable company.
