The Strada statale 106 (also known as the Ionian) is a state road which spans the southern coast of Italy, connecting Reggio Calabria to Taranto as it follows the coastlines of the eponymous Ionian Sea and Gulf of Taranto. While the route itself was featured in the initial release of the Italia map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2, it wouldn't be signed until update 1.44. In-game, the route is only rendered between Taranto and a FUI SpA farm north of Catanzaro.
