Monterey is a scenery town in California featured in the base game of American Truck Simulator. It is located on the Central Coast in the western part of the state, along CA 1 south of Santa Cruz.
Summary
Monterey was added in update 1.50 as part of the third phase of the California rework. Despite being signed as Monterey, the landmarks and road network rendered in-game resemble that of Carmel-by-the-Sea located south of Monterey in real-life.
Connections
- The
runs south to Santa Maria and Oxnard (concurrent with US 101) and north to Santa Cruz.
