L397 (Austria)

The Landesstraße L397 (also known as the Gradenfeld Road) is a state road in southeastern Austria, connecting the small communities of Premstätten and Gradenfeld along the A9 south of Graz. The route was added to Euro Truck Simulator 2 as part of the Austria rework in update 1.44. In-game, only a small section of the road is rendered, flanking both sides of the A9 at exit 192 south of Graz.

Trivia

• The L397 is the only state road in Austria featured in Euro Truck Simulator 2 which does not feature a "B" prefix. This is because all other featured state roads were formerly owned by the federal government until 2002, and were known as Bundesstraßen. The L397 has always been under state control, and thus did not use the "B" prefix used for Bundesstraßen.
