Carlsbad (California city)
Carlsbad is a city in southern California located between San Diego and Los Angeles. It was featured in the base game of American Truck Simulator.
Summary
Carlsbad was removed as a city and replaced by a scenery town in the same location in update 1.53 as part of the fourth phase of the California rework. It, alongside Ehrenberg, Arizona, were the fourth and fifth cities to be removed from the game's economy since its initial release after Oakdale was removed (replaced by Modesto) as part of the third phase of the California rework in update 1.50.

Release History
- In update 1.53, as part of the fourth phase of the California rework, Carlsbad was completely reworked and all companies and features were removed as the city was replaced by an inaccessible scenery town in the same location.
Trivia
- Before update 1.53, the achievement Cheers! required the player to deliver cargo from all vineyards in California, one of which was a Darchelle Uzau vineyard in Carlsbad.
